Jason Barrett

Jason has more than 25 years of experience serving in corporate legal and HR roles in diverse industries including maritime, energy, and oil and gas. He has legal expertise in the areas of data privacy compliance, global employment and labor law, intellectual property, employee relations, and legal administration.

Jason has built two globally compliant data privacy programs from the ground up and is a frequent keynote speaker and advisor to global associations and organizations on data privacy compliance.

In addition to his work with The Wallenstein Law Group, he serves as a Board member for two non-profit organizations and one private organization.

Jason received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mississippi and J.D. from the University of Houston. He is admitted to practice in Texas.

He is a grateful father of 2 adult daughters and blessed husband married over 25 years. He enjoys running, college football, group fitness “bootcamp” classes, traveling, and volunteering my time with non-profit organizations.
