Candace Jasso is a highly effective ethics and compliance professional who has designed, implemented and managed compliance programs in both “in-house” and consulting capacities. At The Wallenstein Law Group, Mrs. Jasso acts as an extension of clients’ staff, externally managing aspects of their respective programs and investigations.  Additionally, she advises companies on the development, implementation and management of anti-corruption compliance programs.

Mrs. Jasso has assisted and advised companies with pre-existing compliance issues, including bribery and SEC violations, many of which were subject to rigorous compliance obligations under deferred prosecution agreements, consent decrees and government-appointed monitorships. Mrs. Jasso also has extensive experience advising and assisting companies with their selection and implementation of third-party management systems, including due diligence and investigation databases.  Additionally, Mrs. Jasso has initiated and overseen successful risk assessments, evaluations of compliance program effectiveness, certification initiatives, global reporting programs, hotlines/helplines and gifts and entertainment programs.

Mrs. Jasso previously served as Global Compliance Manager for Trillium Flow Technologies in Houston, Texas and has worked as an ethics and compliance leader in the oil and gas, engineering, electronics and international telecommunications industries.  She obtained a Master of Jurisprudence in Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, a Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of Houston-Victoria and is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP).
